Yesterday’s Bloody Marython was EPIC! Look at all those crazy folks!

41 runners, 4 bars, 2 mimosa stations= a very sore, happy Mamrie.

Thank you everyone for participating! There will be lots of photos and video to come, but for now I must eat a lot of cheese products.

YO! If you are REGISTERED, be sure to be at McCarren Park (corner of Bedford and North 12th) at 11am at the latest. There’s gonna be a lot of folks signing in, so if I were you I’d get there at 10:45, sign in, and chill out with a big coffee full of Baileys or Amaretto or Kahlua.

Let me paint you a word picture... In Minnesota, which is my home, we have a small chain of restaurants called Pizza Luce. Every Sunday, they have brunch and a bloody mary bar. They bring you a big glass with your choice of vodka, and then you go over to the bar and choose the degree of spicy-ness of tomato juice, and then you get to choose from a beautiful plethora of garnishes: beef sticks, cheese sticks, pickles, celery, olives, shrimp... the list goes on... It is glorious. And something I thought you would appreciate. :)
